A practical guide

Distinguish the review version at a glance.

  1. Choose the report and enter a concise status or revision label.
  2. Choose an available placement and opacity that respects the page content.
  3. Apply the mark and inspect a text-heavy page and a figure page.

Try this example

Apply REV 02 at low opacity to a seven-page proposal. Check a dense budget page and a chart page to make sure neither is obscured.

After

Input and expected output for this task. Illustrative example.

Before you start: The mark is an overlay, not a signature or access-control setting; the original report content remains underneath.

Add page numbers
What you get

Add a text watermark to every PDF page. Choose diagonal, center or footer placement. Use Add Logo to PDF for PNG/JPG marks. A watermark does not remove underlying content.

Limits and important details

Text is applied to every page in diagonal, center or footer position. Standard font character coverage is limited. This is a visible label, not redaction, encryption or copy protection; existing digital signatures may be invalidated. Use Add Logo to PDF for image marks or Add Letterhead to PDF for a PDF template.

Example

Use the six-page sample and enter DRAFT. Choose diagonal placement and low opacity. Check that all six pages are marked and the original text remains readable.
