A practical guide

Spot print and font issues early.

  1. Choose one PDF.
  2. Read the report on the page: sizes, text per page, fonts, images, encryption, fields and bookmarks.
  3. Download the TXT report if you need to keep it; the PDF is not changed.

Before printing a deck exported as PDF, check that all fonts are embedded and that every page uses the same landscape size.

Before you start: Read-only. Text detection finds text-drawing commands, not OCR quality. Inline images are not counted. For encrypted PDFs, content and document information are reported as unavailable.

What you get

Read a PDF report: version, pages, page sizes, text layer per page, fonts, images, encryption, form fields, bookmarks, producer and creator. The PDF is not changed.

Limits and important details

Editing: 10 MiB, 200 pages, 2048 characters per field, 20 MiB output. Dates use UTC timestamps. XMP and other metadata are not synchronized or sanitized. Digital signatures may be invalidated. Inspection does not certify a document is safe or enumerate every attachment, script or hidden object. File names and report text remain local.
