A practical guide

Check the report after supported comments are removed.

  1. Choose a PDF and select all supported comments, text notes or text markup.
  2. Run removal and save the resulting PDF copy.
  3. Review pages for the intended changes and compare with the original.

Limits and important details

10 MiB, 200 pages, 2000 annotations, 20 MiB output. Notes, markup, drawing and stamp comments only. Related replies and popups are removed too. Links and fields remain. Unknown types, tagged annotations, grouped/cross-page replies and malformed relationships are rejected. Comment objects may remain recoverable inside the PDF. Not secure cleanup; flattened page marks cannot be removed.

Example

Choose Text markup to remove highlights, underlines, squiggly underlines and strikeouts with their replies, while retaining independent text notes. Preview the result and check the links and form fields. Never use this operation to erase confidential information.
